About the event
Inspired by the contemporary brass bands of New Orleans, DSB8 rolls into town with an infectious mix of originals and popular charts. With nods to The Big Easy's luminaries of Trombone Shorty, Jon Cleary, Dr John, and the Rebirth Brass Band, DSB8's big bold brass also brings a few surprise interpretations of some old favourites. Formed on Halloween as the dead rose for their annual earthly outing, Hallowed Horns assembled to provide the party soundtrack. Now, here on the Earthen plane to stay, they exist to make us regular folk dance, move and stare in awe of their unique brand of horn blasting bangers.
