About the event

Presenting FEMME AGENDER No.7, an evening aimed at bringing the power of Femme/ Non- Binary/ Queer musicians, creatives and humans to flourish and decorate the space.

ARTISTS KUZCO Kuzco [kuuz-co] is an Australian/ Maori producer living and creating in Naarm after growing up in Meanjin. A focal member of groups like Middle Name Dance Band, Mon Riser as well as session keyboardist for Harvey Sutherland, Gordon Koang and Horatio Luna, Kuzco is now working to bring her own creations to the public eye. Her first EP, set for release early ’22, blends together pulsating

rhythms, celestial sounds and provocative word. This self- expressive creation is a product of 2020’s introspective

lockdown, standing as a foundational piece of work for her time ahead. Kuzco’s musical background spans countless genres and songs, embodying and reflecting on her musical heritage. In her own words the intention is to write music that activates the sensuality of feeling music in the body and reigniting the self with fluid movement.

CLOVER BLUE Clover Blue (they/she) is a Palawa musician and artist currently residing in Naarm, having grown up in a plethora of national and international locations.

Blue is a core member of prog-folk band Raising Children, where explorations of genre swim between folk traditions and prog-based rhythmic changes. They also offer their voice to bandmate September Barker's solo project, in addition to Ella Clair. Working alongside producer and drummer Soren Maryasin, Clover Blue is in the final stages of a solo EP to follow their 2020 debut single 'cake'. Recalling the lineages of Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone and Julia Jacklin, they present intricate, introspective, intense and dreamy folk songs to spin both true and imagined life-based narratives. With writing often grounded in poetry, Blue aims to craft poignant music that challenges the listener in some way.

DARKROOM POETRY Naarm based Musician/Composer Phoebe Parsons (she/her) aka EBIPHE, presents her project Darkroom Poetry. This music represents the child self and the songwriter self, a journey through influences of progressive rock, jazz, soul and indie punk. Songs of personal growth, politic and perspective. Growing up in regional NSW Orange, her roots of singer/songwriter are rediscovered in this project. Phoebe also writes and produces for nu-soul/jazz/boom rock group EBIPHE, and is vocalist in world inspired progressive rock/punk group Culaccino.
