About the event
G Tano is a Naarm/Melbourne-based band blending old-school funk rhythms, acid jazz atmospheres, and Mediterranean influences. Known for their electrifying live shows, they’ve performed at prestigious events, including the National Gallery of Victoria's 2024 Grand Gala Night. With influences ranging from Hendrix to 70s jazz-funk, they’ve sold out shows at iconic venues. Their debut album will be released in April: READ THE ROOM showcases a rich fusion of genres and multicultural soundscapes. The band has been described by local press as a “sonic journey through groove, soul, and psychedelia.”
