Lamparina band performs usually as a quartet and brings traditional arrangements of the popular Brazilian music/party called Forró. The word Lamparina is the Portuguese name for the kerosene lamp used in the underdeveloped areas of Brazil where forró comes from. Many Forró parties have been carried out at the light of the lamparina. 🌌
