About the event
Laneous is a staple piece to the music scene in Australia, being known as your favourite musician's favourite musician, he has influenced the East Coast profoundly in a number of projects, inspiring artists like Hiatus Kaiyote and Jordan Rakei. In Melbourne, Mr Laneous is in bands like psychedelic afro-jazz Standing Circle and swinging Jazz Party where he is seen playing guitar and/or singing with the rugged angel voice he has. Lachy is also well known for being the whiteboard control room for the sub-cult jazz improv gig called Uncomfortable Science, where he conducts 4 or 5 high class musicians using nothing but a whiteboard and marker.
On the 15th of June he’ll be Joined by Lewho and other specials guests. Expect some nice soulful stuff, thoughtful covers and a lovely afternoon of head nodding.
