🎸Oggy Oggy is the project of bass player, composer, and improviser Oscar Lenain. While touring and releasing music as a sideman on many genre-diverse projects in the last few years, including Paprika, LAZR Bees, Convenience Store and various jazz outfits, Oscar has been quietly consolidating his own musical identity. Inspired by contemporary large group jazz-funk and nu-jazz bands, such as Groove Collective, Alfa Mist, and Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Oscar's intricate arrangements and deep rhythmic structures challenge expectations while maintaining a focus on groove.🎸
