Sabor y Ritmo (English: Flavour and Rhythm) are a brand new Naarm/Melbourne-based Afro-Cuban jazz ensemble, led by Santiago-born Cuban conga player, Rodolfo Hechavarria (Panga).
The group, consisting of Panga, Yunior Maden (percussion) Liam Powell (bass), Luke Koszański (guitar), and Will Larsen (woodwind) traverses a broad array of Afro-Cuban styles, including Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, and more.
Sabor y Ritmo are inviting you to Bar Oussou on Saturday 11th May to enjoy two sets of fine Afro-Cuban Jazz.
Sabor y Ritmo acknowledges they are performing on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation and pay respects to Elders Past Present and Future, and acknowledges that Sovereignty was never ceded.
