The Affia Band is back at Oussou – Showcasing their new album “My Mentor” and bringing big party vibes! 💐❤️

“My  Mentor” collects the Affia Band’s repertoire alongside new hits for the  album. We are pleased to say the result is something very special  indeed! 🧐

“My Mentor” tells stories of peace, unity and love –  The Mentor in question is Yusupha’s father, Musa Ngum. Musa’s accolades  are well known in Sene-Gambia not only as a popular singer and  performer, but as a voice of unity and peace. Musa worked unceasingly  over his life to unite people together not only through his music, but  as an active voice in advocacy for peace and unity as a Pan-Africanist.  🙏🌍

It is a very special moment to have Musa’s voice of unity  reflected by Yusupha here on this album – And what an album it is!! 🎶💿

Get  ready for classics like “Taysito” “Mariama” and “Maam Say Njie”  alongside new hits fresh for the album. Yusupha and the band have done  some serious musical justice here!!! 🔥

Yusupha  Ngum hails from Gambia, West Africa, and brings all the rich musical  cultural tradition from that region of the world... He's accompanied by  the incredibly talented Affia Band, you have to hear them to believe it!   🙌

Yusupha's father, Musa Ngum, used to always wear two  differently coloured shoes... The reason was to encourage unity, among  those who have been divided... Yusupha Ngum and the Affia Band brings  this message to all of us through their songs and music!  🙏

The  Affia Band is comprised of members that collectively come from five  continents! Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia!  🌍
