The Jawa Pitu Band brings the vibrant sound of Dangdut to life—a dynamic fusion of Hindustani, Malay, and Arabic influences blended with the grooves of 70s African, Latin, Jazz, Reggae, and Funk. Their unique take on this Indonesian genre is enriched with elements of Western Jazz/Funk, Reggae, and traditional Indonesian gamelan, creating a distinctive sound that gets everyone dancing. With 2 percussionists, bass, guitar, drums, and 3 harmonious vocalists, they light up every stage, from Melbourne festivals to private parties, weddings, and community events.
