Toby Barrett is a highly praised saxophonist from New Zealand's contemporary jazz scene. His work draws influence from ECM-style jazz, Scottish folk and American popular music.
After previously performing at New Zealand's finest jazz clubs and the Wellington Jazz Festival, Toby is excited to make his Melbourne debut at bar Oussou. Heavily inspired by the emotive connection to music, Toby's compositions explore emotional depth and expression. Joined by exceptional Australian musicians, the quartet presents original tunes alongside music ranging from Matt Carmichael to John Mayer. This will be a night of beautiful music, don't miss out!
